Revision surgery in Korea
Revision surgery in Korea corrects or reverses an earlier operation, such as a double eyelid crease set too high, a shifted nose implant or a dropped tip, or breast implants with capsular contracture (hardened scar tissue around them). It is more complex than a first operation, and recovery often takes longer: most revisions need 7 to 10 days in Seoul.
How to choose
Bring what you know about the first operation: when it was done, what was used and what has changed since, with any records and photos. Most surgeons wait until tissue has settled before planning a revision, often several months for eyelids and about a year for the nose. An infection or an implant pushing through the skin should not wait: see a doctor promptly, wherever you are.
