About us

Korea Plastic Surgery Reviews is an information site, not a clinic, for people outside Korea considering plastic surgery in Seoul. We started in 2023. A patient coordinator answers your questions first, then connects you with the partner clinic that fits your goals, where the surgeon consults in depth. This is free for you.

What we do

We write plain guides to plastic surgery in Korea for international patients: how each procedure is done, how recovery goes day by day, how long to stay in Seoul, the risks and who a procedure may not suit.

Next to the guides we show before and after cases from our partner clinic, published only with the patient’s consent on file at the clinic.

How we started

We began by answering what patients abroad ask before they book a trip: what recovery looks like, when it is safe to fly home, what a quote should include and how to check that a clinic and surgeon are legitimate.

How a consultation works

A patient coordinator answers your questions first, by email or in your messaging app. We then connect you with the partner clinic that suits what you want, and the clinic’s surgeon goes through the plan with you in depth.

Our consultation and the introduction to a clinic are free for you. You pay only the clinic’s own price for treatment.

Our partner clinic

Urban Plastic Surgery, near Gangnam Station in Seoul, is our partner clinic. Clinic figures and cases on this site come from them and are labeled as clinic data. Being partners does not change what we write about risks, recovery or who a procedure may not suit.

What we are not

We are not a clinic and we do not give medical advice. Our coordinators are not doctors; medical decisions are always made by your surgeon.

If you live in Korea or have Korean national health insurance, our pages are information only and we do not refer you to clinics.

How we write

Procedure pages label each figure as clinic data or our general guidance, guides name their sources, and the site owner approves each page before it is published. Pages in other languages are rewritten for readers of that language, with the same facts, figures and sources as the English page. Our editorial policy explains the details.
