Editorial policy
Korea Plastic Surgery Reviews guides are written by our editorial team with help from software tools, including AI. Clinic figures are labeled as Urban Plastic Surgery data, no doctor reviews pages before they are published, and the site owner approves each page. This page describes the rules we follow, and we update it when they change.
Who we are
Korea Plastic Surgery Reviews is an information site for international patients considering plastic surgery in Seoul. We are not a clinic and we do not give medical advice.
Our partner clinic is Urban Plastic Surgery. The partnership does not change what we publish about risks, recovery or who a procedure may not suit.
Who writes our guides
Guides are written and updated by our editorial team. We use software tools, including AI, to help research and draft. Every figure is checked against its source: the clinic’s own pages, the references listed on the page, or our general guidance on recovery and travel. The site owner approves each page before it is published.
Medical review
Our pages are not reviewed by a doctor before they are published. Instead, procedure pages say where each figure comes from (the clinic, our general guidance or a listed reference) and list the risks and who the procedure may not suit, and guides name their sources and list them at the end. Your own surgeon confirms your plan.
If a doctor reviews a page in the future, that page will name them and give the date of the review. We never show a review that did not happen.
Where our facts come from
Each figure on a procedure page is labeled with where it came from. When clinic pages disagree, or a figure is unclear, we leave it out rather than guess.
- Urban Plastic Surgery: figures as published on the clinic’s own pages, with the date we collected them.
- General guidance: typical recovery and travel timing that we write from the clinic’s figures and published references.
- Published references: professional societies, national health services, medical regulators, government agencies and peer-reviewed research, and news reports for recent Korean laws and rules, listed at the end of the guide or procedure page that uses them.
What we never publish
- Invented reviews, ratings, prices, credentials, statistics or results
- Promises such as “painless”, “guaranteed” or “no side effects”
- Before and after photos without the patient’s consent on file at the clinic
- Before and after or recovery photos made or changed with AI
Prices
We do not list prices yet, because they vary by clinic and plan. Until we add price ranges, procedure pages explain what changes the price and what a written quote should list.
Clinic cases
Before and after photos come from the clinic and are shown only with the patient’s consent on file. We show them as the clinic provided them, resized for the web, and we do not edit them. Breast photos stay blurred until you choose to view them. Results differ from person to person.
If you live in Korea
If you live in Korea or have Korean national health insurance, our pages are information only. We do not refer you to clinics or arrange consultations.
Updates and corrections
Each guide and procedure page shows the date it was last updated. We check pages at least every 90 days and whenever the clinic changes its figures. When we find an error, we correct it and change the date.
