Eye surgery in Korea
Eye surgery in Korea covers double eyelids, ptosis correction (often called eye shape correction in Korea), eye corners and under-eye bags. At our partner clinic in Seoul, most of these take 30 minutes to 1 hour under sedation and you go home the same day. Most people fly after the check-up or stitch removal, around day 6 or 7.
How to choose
If your upper eyelid covers part of the pupil, ptosis correction is usually part of the plan, often in the same operation as the crease. If the problem is excess skin with age, an upper blepharoplasty or sub-brow lift fits better than a double eyelid procedure.
